A poker client moves almost no data, so bandwidth is rarely the issue. What kills you is packet loss and jitter. A single three-second stall on Wi-Fi is enough to time you out of a significant pot. If you play regularly, use a cable.
Four install routes and their risks
Windows (.exe)
Risk: counterfeit installers. When SmartScreen intervenes, read the publisher name before clicking through.
macOS (.dmg)
Lower risk, but read the Gatekeeper prompt properly rather than right-clicking to bypass it.
Android (APK / store)
Highest risk. Repackaged, trojanised APKs circulate widely in Chinese-language forums.
iOS (store / profile)
Risk: third-party signing services. Installing an unknown enterprise profile hands over control of the device.
Searching for the Chinese download terms surfaces a long list of ggpk**.net and ggpuke***.com addresses. Some are genuine rotating entry points; others are pure phishing. Search results cannot tell them apart. Take new URLs from announcements inside a client you already trust, or from a verified official channel.
How to verify an installer
- Check the digital signature. On Windows: right-click → Properties → Digital Signatures, and confirm the publisher. On macOS:
codesign -dv --verbose=4in Terminal. - Compare the file size. Official installers are fairly consistent; a discrepancy of several megabytes deserves suspicion.
- Scan it once. Upload to a multi-engine scanner and look for a cluster of detections.
- On Android, check the package. After installing, verify the package name and signing fingerprint against the official values before you log in.
Install once on a machine you trust, then take every future URL and update from inside the client. That way you never have to gamble on a search result again.
Multi-tabling setup
- Turn off animations and sound. Table animation is the heaviest GPU load; past eight tables it has to go.
- Tile, do not stack. Stacked layouts cause misclicks on the wrong table under time pressure.
- Fix the table size. Buttons in the same place every time is what makes muscle memory work.
- Disable background updaters. System updates and cloud sync firing mid-session are a classic disconnection cause.
Installed — now the terms matter
The client is just the door. Rake, rakeback and withdrawal rules decide your long-run result.

Frequently asked questions
Does Windows 10 still work?
Yes — the desktop client supports 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. The real trouble spots are outdated graphics drivers, which cause table tearing, and 32-bit systems, which cannot install it at all.
Is the Mac client as capable as the Windows one?
The poker functionality is identical; multi-tabling management and some layout options are thinner. Apple Silicon machines run it natively or through Rosetta, and 8GB of memory handles four tables comfortably.
I cannot find the iOS app.
Store availability depends on the country attached to your Apple account; some regions are limited to the browser client or an official profile install. Never source an IPA from a third-party site or use an unknown signing service — that is the main route to a stolen account.
Are Android APKs safe?
Only as safe as the source. Official builds carry a fixed package name and signing fingerprint you can verify after install. APKs from forums, cloud-drive links or chat groups should be treated as hostile; repackaging with malware is a well-established technique.
Is there a browser version?
In some regions, yes, with fewer tables and limited layout control. It is fine for trying the software or logging in from someone else's machine; for regular volume the desktop client is markedly more efficient.
Can I stay logged in on phone and desktop at once?
Logging in on a second device normally disconnects the first. If that happens mid-hand, the disconnection-protection rules apply — but do not rely on them. Use one device for anything that matters.
How many tables can my machine handle?
The constraint is memory and screen real estate, not CPU. Four tables run on almost anything; past eight, plan on 16GB and a 1440p display or the tables will overlap past the point of usability.
