What ClubGG is
A social poker application played with virtual chips rather than currency. You can run Hold'em and Omaha games, create a club and invite friends, or enter public tournaments. The chips have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
This is not “GGPoker for free”. It is a separate social product. The two share branding and some event tie-ins, but accounts, balances and player pools are entirely separate.

Install from your regional app store
iOS and Android availability depends on your store country. Do not source the installer from a third-party website.
Third-party APKs are the standard route to a stolen account — free-chip app or not.Create the account
Email or social sign-in. Because no real money is involved, the data requirements are far lighter than on the real-money platform.
Set a nickname and avatar
Your nickname is your identity inside a club. If you are joining a friend's club, give them the exact spelling.

What free chips are really worth
What works
- Risk-free familiarity with the interface, button placement and structures
- Private games with friends, easier to organise than a home game
- A qualification path to live events through some tournaments
- Broad regional availability, far below the bar the real-money platform sets
What does not
- Opponents behave irrationally, so strategic conclusions do not transfer
- Chips have no cash value; winning takes nothing home
- Game quality swings wildly depending on who is in the club
- Easy to build sloppy habits when nothing is at stake
Treat ClubGG as a mechanics trainer, not a strategy trainer. Practise table switching, hotkeys and tournament structures; do not judge whether your play is correct from free-chip results. For strategy, see poker basics and strategy.
Before stepping up to real-money tables
Understand rake, rakeback and withdrawal rules first. Those three determine your actual long-run return.

Frequently asked questions
Does ClubGG cost anything?
Downloading and playing are free, and the chips are virtual — there is no real-money wagering and no cash-out. The app may sell chip top-ups or cosmetic items, but chips cannot be converted back into money.
Do ClubGG and GGPoker share an account?
No. They are separate products with separate account systems and separate balances. Nothing you win on ClubGG carries over to the real-money platform.
Can I cash out ClubGG chips?
No. ClubGG is social poker and the chips have no cash value. The real value is free practice, plus the live-event qualification some tournaments offer.
Why play poker with free chips at all?
Three practical reasons: learning the interface and formats without paying tuition, running private games with friends, and qualifying for live events through specific tournaments. Live qualification explained →
Is free-chip play useful for learning strategy?
Only up to a point. Chips cost nothing, so opponents make decisions no real-money player would — random all-ins, for instance. It is good for practising mechanics and understanding structures, but useless for validating strategy.
Where is ClubGG available?
Because there is no real-money wagering, availability is broader than on the real-money platform. Actual listing depends on your app store country.
Do I need to complete KYC?
Not for ordinary play. If you win a live-event seat through a tournament, redeeming it normally requires identity and age verification.
